Dutch Wonderland!!

Since Annie was here for her Birthday- Mommom planned a super fun filled wet & wild day for us in Dutch Wonderland. We even had our own "cabana" with  thatched roof, chairs so we could take a load off and  table where we were able to belly up and eat ll the sweet treats that Mommom and Poppy bought us! Miles and Annie got to go on a super scary roller coaster- but I just stayed close to the adults and simply watched their screaming faces as they passed me at a crazy fast speed! My fav part of the day had to be the water park. At first it freaked me out- but by the end I was running around like I owned the place. Mommy almost had a heart attack because it was nearly impossible to keep an eye on my while I was darting in, around, up & down & thru the water.  Mommom even got extra points because she took us on  scary ride that whipped around and the force of it was almost too much for both her and I!! That's OK- because the nice calm pony ride took it down a level and made things  bit more mellow. Annie was a lucky Birthday girl and we had SO MUCH FUN!Can we pencil in Hershey Park for next year, Mommom & Poppy?????

Mommom bought us all matching outfits for a photo of all her & Poppy's grandkids, so here are a few of the winners from our photo shoot!!

It's Off To See The River...

And of course, Mommom & Poppy!!!!! Actually, I guess it is a canal that they live on. So long as family is there- it's good to me! Since the California family was there- it was great!! To top it all off- the Devines came to visit- so it was awesome!!! We had fun playing in the water- but I was kinda grossed out by the silty bottom and weed thingies that kept getting tangled in my feet. Every time one would grab me- I would scream in retaliation! Braydon, newbie Rhya, Grandma Grace, Aunt Liz, Uncle Steve & Aunt Lois and Jeanette had a fun day with us! Miles, Annie and I played in the deeper water while Rhya nd Braydon splashed about near the shore.  We ate tons of dessert and I shared my "boys" (AKA army men) and cars with Braydon. Rhya (mere months old) was an angel baby and even fell asleep right on her Mamma!!!! Thank you to The Devines for coming all the way to join us- we had a fun filled wonderful day!

The Cousins Are Coming!!

Another summer and it is time for our yearly visit from our California Family!!! Much fun to be had- lots of playing, rumpusing on the beach, running round the house and generally keeping the adults on their toes! This year was super cool for me because I could keep up with the big kids and tried to do everything they did! My language skills even exploded this week because I was trying to impress everyone and be cool like my older cousins. Lukey mixed right in with the pack and did  darn good job keeping up with us too!Part 1- Avalon...but stay tuned for the rest of the visit...

CRABS!

Mamma and daddy have wanted me to try shellfish for some time now- but it seems that every time the opportunity presents itself and there are some shrimp & crab present, the Benadryl just happens to be MIA! This time however- it was a perfect storm and all parties were present & accounted for, just in case I had a shellfish allergy...so all systems were GO!! I wanted no part of the shrimp- but I did take a couple licks and eventually a bite of the crab claws. More than the meat, I was fascinated with the shell and kept trying to eat that end. Well- as you can guess that did not taste that good- so I lost interest pretty quickly! Oh well- at least I FINALLY was able to tempt my taste buds & maybe next time I will actually get to swallow some!
