Soccer Camp

My first week of summer was filled with tons of pool time in the afternoon- but in the morning it was SOCCER CAMP!!!!!!!! I learned tons of new fun footwork and even scored 5 times in one scrimmage. My team won every game- except the last day when we played against the coaches. They beat us- but we learned a lot and had a blast! We even had our own Weddington World Cup...what a great way to start the summer!!!!!!!

Farewell, Kindergarten!!!

I am no longer a Kindergartener!!!! Now you can call me a rising First Grader! Today was my last day of school and I was so sad to say goodbye to my friends and my wonderful teacher Ms. Zakary!!! It as such a wonderful year...I made tons of friends & learned lots of cool stuff like addition, subtraction and reading! If K was this fun- 1st grade is going to be the best!!!! But until then- welcome SUMMER!!!!!!!!

6 Year Well

I had my 6 year old well visit to the doctor today-and good news was no shots!!!!!! No more doc shots until I am 10! Woo Hoo!!!!! I also passed my hearing test this time- so the allergy meds are working, keeping down the pressure in my head. I am 30th percentile for height and 25th percentile for weight...so mommy and daddy's dream of an NBA player in the family are probably out the window!!!! Doc says I am the perfect snapshot of health- which I totally could have told him! The only bad part of the visit was mommy embarrassing me with her picture taking. I am ok with the height & weight shots...but me in the robe??? Come on, mom...

 

Last Game

 

We ended our season with a tie- which I think was a nice way for both of our teams to feel good! We all played our little hearts out and learned a ton!!!! I even made some new friends that I will be getting together with over the summer. I told  mommy and daddy that soccer is the sport that I love and the one I want to play for the rest of my life. Watch out Beckham...Ryan is hot on your heels and I have some smooth soccer skills!
