6TH BIRTHDAY

If a picture is worth a thousand words- then this blog post better be short- 'cause there are no pics here!!!!!

 

Bet you would like to see some pictures from my 6th b-day, huh??? You are not going to see them here, though...because Mommy accidentally erased all of the 300+ pictures that she took of my party! Can you believe that?????? My first "real" kid party at a venue and I have no visual remembrances of it???? I will assure you that I had a fabulous time. Mommy sent out a Lego Evite- all of my friends came to the My Gym location where we ran, jumped, zip lined, rode a huge hot dog swing and partied- eating a fabulous chocolate Lego themed cake. Sorry no pics, but use your imagination people- then multiply it by 100 and that is how much fun I had at my party!!!!!!!

First Soccer Game

So- we didn't win our first soccer game (that just so happened to be on my birthday) but we sure did have a lot of fun!!!!!!! My coach is awesome and everyone on my team is super nice! I am having a lot of fun and like defense just as much as offense. So- now that we have our first game under our belts, maybe next week we will win- even though technically we don't keep score!!!

Birthday Rock

I got my name painted on a rock!!!!!!!! At my school- we have this cool thing called the Birthday Rock. Since Mary, who lives in my neighborhood and is in my class, shares my birthday (we were even both born around 2pm!!!) her mommy shared the rock with us and Mommy painted it with Mrs. Boler the day before my Bday!!!! It was such a great surprise and I think it turned out great!

It was made even more special because Bud and CiCi were able to come to my school and have lunch and cupcakes with me. They loved the rock, too!!! What a great way to kick off my birthday weekend...

One Spoiled Pup

Mommy and I looked outside the other day and Tucker had dragged a cushion from the patio furniture into the middle of the backyard and was just sitting on the cushion sunning himself. Most pups are happy to have some nice grass to lay on- but apparently this is not enough for our particular  pooch...apparently the needs further fluff. We are gonna have to toughen this little fuzzball up!!!!!

Soccer

Mommy signed me up for "micro soccer" this year and today was my first skills practice. There were a gagillion of us little kiddies out there on the field and we had so much fun learning some basic skills. My friends Chase and Mary are also playing- but neither are on my team...which means I will have to play against them. I would  rather with them- but at least I will get to see them at a game or two! My team shirt is green- which just made my day because it is my fav color! That and the fact that we got to go out or Fro Yo afterwards with my buddy Chase. I have a feeling I am going to love soccer!

 

 

 

Report Card

Yesterday was report card day. Mommy and daddy were really happy with my progress.

Gourmet Green

Mamma introduced me to one of the finer things in life today...the Shamrock Shake. I gotta admit- I had my doubts at first, but anything that is my favorite color green can't be bad, right??? The verdict is in...I loved it!!! !

Who...ME????? I didn't do it!!!

 

Mommy started putting me in time out at a very early age...do you think 15 weeks is too young to start with Tucker??? While we were eating our lovely salmon dinner on the deck- this little fluff of fur dug deep under our deck and hit Carolina clay. Needless to say, dinner was cut short and a nice warm bath was in Tuck's future! Mommy says we should call him "Trouble"- but I think "Piggy" is better- because Tucker has proven he sure likes to roll around in the mud!

 

 

Soccer

Only 2 more weeks until my first soccer game...so Daddy and Tuck helped me hone my skills!

 

 

 

Until Tuck kept trying to steal the ball, that is- then he was banished inside!!!

 

Dr. Seuss

This week we celebrated Dr. Seuss' Birthday in school! Not only did we learn about his life, but we read many of his books this week, too!  I was so jazzed about Dr. Seuss, that mommy and I continued the festivities at home- reading and watching Seuss movies. Mommy even made me a Cat in the Hat costume to wear to school, on Friday. It was a fun week and a great celebration of one of the greatest kids authors of all time!
