A Cousin Cornucopia

This weekend was full of cousin fun! On  Saturday- we had Robbie, Owen and baby Andrew to our house for a sleepover!! Owen and I bunked in my room and we even though i have a bed and my trundle, Oie decided he wanted to sleep on the floor in a sleeping bag. Ti be honest, I was kinda jealous because sleeping bags are super cool! Baby Andrew was super cute and as always- everyone looked up to the big cousin Robbie! Then- on Sunday- we headed down to Delaware to spend some time with some of  my other cousins- Luke and Finn!! Normally I see these guys at the beach- so it was so fun for me to get to see Lukey's stomping ground. We ran around so ,uch that Luke got a belly ache (or the tummy issues could have come from the fact that I introduced him to Swedish Fish Candy.  Regardless of the reason- he rallied and the night of fun went off without a hitch. It was super fun to get to spend more time with my newest, youngest cousin Finn. Daddy even tried to teach him about good gin- introducing him to Tangueray... just to hold of course, not to drink!! All in all the weekend was one of the best weekends ever because of all my great cousins!

V-Day At School

This was the first year that I got to go to a Valentine's Day party at school and exchange Valentine's with my friends. Mommy found this cute idea with Swedish Fish (which are now my fav candy, I might add!!!) and some cute little Valentine with sayings like "I am so glad you are in my school" and "I was hooked from the first time I saw you." Mommy made those valentine's while I used paint and old toilet paper rolls to make some of my very own cards to send to family. It was a lot of fun and I got some wonderful Valentine's from all of my buddies at school.Mommy even dressed me in red and made heart shaped jello jigglers  & pink and red cupcakes for the snack at my party. What a fun day- filled with love and friendship for all!!!!

Valentine Ninja

For Valentine's Day weekend mommy and I got to spend the weekend with Mommom & Poppy!!! Daddy was out of town on business and mommy  had plans with friends that she has known for 30 years, so not only did I get to visit with Mommom & Poppy but they got the wonderful privilege of babysitting me as well! For Valentine's Day, since they know how much I am digging Ninjago- I got a Ninja vehicle as well as this green ninja headband. The headband really helped me to get into the spirit of the ninja and I was able to show everyone my way cool moves. Very Zen-like, if I do say so myself!!!

Fancy Dining

Mom thought that maybe having a nice fancy dinner in the dining room would make eating some healthy foods a bit more interesting. She lit candles, turned on some soothing diner music and made me some yummy mac & cheese, broccoli and bananas to eat. (And yes, I was again successfully multi tasking on the phone with CiCi while eating my din din.) I really loved sitting at the adult table in the newly painted and decorated dining room, but gotta be honest mamma- dressing it up all fancy was fun- but it certainly does not change the taste of broccoli!!!!!!

My Ladies

My two favorite besties came down to spend the night this weekend and it was awesome!!!!!!! We have not seen the Matias Fmily since before the holidays- so not only did we get to celbrate Christmas together- but also had cupcaked to celbrate Greta's 4th Birthday!!!!!! Not that we even need a reason to celebrate when we get together, we just always have THAT much fun! Evie and I got into the nitty gritty of Lego Ninjago- for she is a fan of the 4 fabulous spinning Spinjitsu ninjas as well!! We all slept in my room and actually did fall asleep after a while of giggling and jealously peering out the window at our parents who were having a fire in daddy's fire pit.  As always- I miss my girlies when we are not together- but when we are- we sure do make up for lost time!!

 

Winter Beach Frolick

Now that I am in school, it is hard to travel as much as we did last winter, but mommy and I did manage to get down to Avalon recently. This was the first time we have been there since Hoover went to doggy heaven, so I was kinda sad that I would not get to see him- but Patches sure did a good job of consoling me. We  ran &  dug on the beach- and had a blast like we always do. Patchy is definitely my speed- and I love him because he is just my size!!!!!
