Pool Party!!

I wanted to spend 24/7 at the pool in Hilton Head and since I had a super duper cool new swimmie floatation device which made it so mommy and daddy did not have to hold me all the time, they were more than happy to oblige. I would jump in, swim to mom, dad or Papa, then swim back to the ladder, climb up and do it all over again-  about, ummmm...probably  9, 437 times!!!!!!

The Easter Bunny Found Me!!!!!!!

I was a little worried that since we were spending Easter in South Carolina with Nana and Papa, that the Easter Bunny would not know where to find me- but he must have been tipped off, because when I awoke on Sunday morning after we finally pulled into Hilton Head the night before, I was surprised to find a basket chock full of chocolate goodies and dinosaur eggs hidden all around the condo!! Thanks EB, for keeping such good tabs on me. I appreciate your thorough attention to my whereabouts, your super skill in hiding eggs and also your wonderful taste in super yummy chocolate!

South Bound

The car is packed and we are ready to go!!! 12 hour drive to Hilton Head and I am excited. Think mommy and daddy feel the same way???

Happy Day, Mamma!!

So- right on the heels of CiCi's Birthday, we got to celebrate mommy's too!!! She had planned a low key day on Saturday with Mommom to check out a local town and do some outside shopping, lunch and girl time...but the massive thunderstorms nixed that idea- so Mommom and Poppy ended up taking me to see the movie "Hop" instead. Not sure how mamma's birthday celebration ended up with a fun kid activity for me- but I am not complaining one bit!!! While we were watching the flick- mommy and daddy headed out and bought me my mattresses for my bed & trundle. They we all reconvened for take out dinner from a restaurant mommy likes and yummy dessert. The next day (Sunday- her actual birthday) was when we surprised her with presents. Daddy got mom a Wii game system- and what she really wanted, Wii Fit! Again, I made out like a champ because I got to partake in her present too. They have a super fun sword type game that I am awesome at, which kept me occupied for hours!!! I even played bowling with Poppy. So- even though it was mommy's birthday weekend celebration, it seems as though I was just as lucky as she was with the birthday karma...

April Showers Bring....Birthdays!!

Lovely CiCi celebrated her Birthday today and we helped her to celebrate. Who woulda thought that she wanted to play with me all day- but that is what she said she wanted to do on her very special day. I guess who could blame her...I am a blast and a half!!!!! We  did go out for a b-day dinner, but most of our time was spent rumping on the beach with Patchy and massive amounts of quality time in the new "bunker" amusing ourselves for hours upon hours.  Thanks CiCi...hopefully you had as much fun as I did, because I loved every minute,  no- every second of YOUR Birthday!!!!!

Jammies

I have taken my need for comfort to a new extreme. My comfy swooshy athletic pants that I forced mommy to dress me in all winter have suddenly become unacceptable not only at nap time, but throughout the day, too. Mommy thinks that it is bad enough that I refuse to wear jeans and cords or any pants that are "too tight", those which I cannot jump, fall, wrestle and rumpus in- but now even my comfy pants are not making the cut. I have been insistent that I wear my jammies around the house with increasing frequency and occasionally even pitch a fit if I have to get dressed in street clothes to venture outside. Mommy and daddy get it- because they prefer their comfy lounge clothes too- but they both agree that I am definitely taking it to the next level!!

Roller Skating

Mommy and I both have new friends...Miss Kelly and Alex. We met them through a local play group and have really enjoyed spending time with them. They  live just a few minutes away from us and Miss Kelly always seems to know cool things that are going on in our town. So- this weekend we went skating at a real roller rink!!! This was my first time roller skating. I was so excited to go and could not wait to skate. Well- after getting there and putting on the skates, I had a little freak out about those shoes with wheels on them. I did not like how they felt, how heavy they were and how they covered my ankles. Miss Kelly knew that they had "shoe" skates...so once I put those on I was ready to go!!! I did insist on mommy holding me for the first hour and a half...but once  I realized we could fake fall and not hurt myself- I was all about doing to all by myself!! Even when I did fall by accident, it was not that bad!!!!!! I had a blast, learned how to climb stairs in skates from watching Alex, and freaked out when it was time to go.  Guess that is progress...crying at first because I did not want to skate...then crying because I did not want to stop skating. Thanks for sharing this little gem with us Miss Kelly and Alex, can't wait to see what other cool places you know about!!

Being Silly

I  love my daddy...we had fun hamming it up for mommy and her camera this weekend. Actually- we were both so tired of her shoving the camera in our faces that we thought we would show her our range of emotions in hopes that would appease her incesant snapping . Luckily for us, it did- and we got some funny pics to boot!
