Owen
I got to spend some quality time with my cousin Owen one weekend this summer. I would like to see him more often, but since we have not had a home base close to his house during our homeless summer, it has been a little hard! We made the most of our time together, though- hanging out & having some good old boy fun! We even got to watch my DVD together when we went out to dinner. Owen would do whatever I did, which was kinda neat. I felt like the cool older cousin! Once we get settled into our new house in October, let's make sure we hang more- because I had fun.

My Shadow, My Buddy
About a year ago, I noticed a pal that seems to be with me at all times. Mommy and daddy call this friend of mine a shadow. He runs fast, jumps high and is pretty cool sidekick! Often when I run, I try to keep track of him and almost run into walls, trees, trash cans on the street, etc. Mommy laughs at me that I am always trying to keep him in my sights...but he does it to me too, so I am just reciporicating! He is smart friend too- because he stays inside on cloudy days!!

Pool Play
In order to make sure we had a super well rounded fun activity filled vacation- we headed over to Papa Ryan's pool. Knowing that my cousins were in town from California, he graciously invited us over for an afternoon of water logged fun!! Miles & Annie were entertained by my Aunt Courtney & her man Joe. They were wonderful water pals and swam, dunked, threw, and splashed with us. It was super day and we thank Papa for opening his pool to my family!

Big Boy Cup
Due to mommy's penchant for tidiness, she was bit reluctant to let me start drinking out of a big boy cup. First she would let me drink about 3 sips out of a straw, then she progressed to filling the cup 1/4 of the way, then 1/2- and now we have FINALLY graduated to a full blown big boy cup- sans straw and even topped off!!!!! She even went to Hoy's 5 &10 and splurged, getting me a purple dolphin handled cup (that looks a lot like an adult coffee mug) so that I could show off my big boy status!!
