Punkin' Guts

Miles drew the design, CiCi cut it out & all three of us kiddies "gutted" the pumpkin. Well- I guess I kinda just looked at it more than actually doing any work to help- but I sure did make sure I played hard in the backyard while Miles & Annie labored over emptying that punkin'!

Dancing Queen

Even though I did not get to witness the graceful art of Annie dancing, mommy wanted to make sure that we blogged about it & showed just how cute my girlie cousin was on the dance floor. I was excited to stay home with the boys and do some male bonding. From the pics, though- Annie was lookin' awesome while doing the "Monster Mash!!!" I was bummed I didn't get to see it first hand. Looks like a fun time,  but I am sure glad I don't have to wear that leotard- I would be "adjusting" it too!!!

Museum & Magic

 Our fun in the San Diego sun (literally, since it was 80 degrees) continued with a Saturday trip to the Museum of natural History. They had a huge costume competition earlier in the day- but my nap prevailed...so we got there in time to have no crowds and lots of room to explore the awesomeness!!! There was  cool gem exhibit which  probably interested Annie because she does love her bling...but I was way more interested in the dinosaurs (go figure) and the live snakes & reptiles. After the museum, we watched a street magician and Annie was able to be part of the show!!!!!! There were many other little girls vying for the part- but I think  that her shiny, shimmery, magnificent mermaid costume helped her to get noticed & picked out of the crowd. After that, a photo op by the fountain and home to bed to prepare for our big day tomorrow!!!!

School Parade

I got to walk in an elementry school parade and I am not even in pre-school yet!!!!! Leave it to my cool California cousins to introduce me to something so cool. The plan was for me to walk once around the HUGE circle with Annie and then to repeat with Miles when his class walked. I only made it around one time, though. I did a great job- no tears, no hesitation with leaving mamma and a huge smile on my face, but once was enough for me. Guess that was a good thing- I just don't think people would have been able to stand the cuteness of TWO adorable dinosaurs walking together!

Pumpkin Patch

Mommy, daddy and I went to a pumpkin patch last weekend to get into the Halloween spirit. We had apple cider donuts, apple cider, picked pumpkins and jumped on and ran through hay stacks. Autumn awesomness at it's best!!

Prehistoric Preview

As we all anticipate the huge holiday that is known as CiCi's Costume Creations (oh- sorry, I mean Halloween), I thought I would give you a tiny unveiling of what you can expect on October 31st!!

Mia is M.I.A No More!!!

Missing In Action...not out kitty!!!!! After 2 weeks of seeing hide nor hair of our fur ball friend- mommy, daddy and I were beginning to accept her fate. We were under the impression that she had gotten out of the house shortly after we moved- but in actuality...she was locked in our basement, cramped into a small 1 foot X 8 foot area behind the finished wall with access to the electrical panel. Our little miracle baby survived on who knows what (mommy is thinking rank water from our french drain system and a plethora of stink bugs that plague our house??) and emerged this morning after mommy had been dealing with Comcast about our non-working phone line. She had gone down to the basement to try to troubleshoot the issue with their support. After forgetting to close the door where the electrical & phone panels are, our trooper of a cat emerged through the cat door and onto our main living floor. Mommy thought is was her grieving brain at work at first- not believing it was actually our baby girl! No mirages here, though!! Our living, breathing, and only slightly less weighty cat was back!!!!! Mommy broke into tears- which scared me...but then I started screaming for joy when seeing that cutie kitty! Welcome home, Mia...don't ever get locked in a small access wall again, OK??? We know cats have 9 lives- but we don't want you using any more of them up!!!!!!

Differentiating Dinos

I am so obsessed with dinosaurs right now! I love love love them!! I am always wanting to play with my dinosaur figurines, watch anything relating to dinosaurs- including a new show called Dino Dan and I am always begging mommy to read me my books about all the different dinos. I have become very well versed in the different types. Just today, I informed mommy that T-Rex cannot fly. When she asked why he could not fly, I responded..."Because he does not have wings."I continued that "The Randon (Pteranodon) has wings, so he can fly!" Mommy was super impressed with me, I could just tell by that gleam in her eye and that huge smile on her face! Just goes to show that if you love something, learning is FUN!!

Chop Sticks

 For about  year and  half now, mommy has had a hard time getting me to eat my veggies. I am not at all trying to be difficult, mamma...but why would I choose to eat green leafy things when I can eat yummy sweet things like yogurt, cookies and carbalicious pasta and mac & cheese?? I mean- that seems like a no brainer to me. Well- in an effort to get me to eat more veggies, mommy has decided that if she makes it more fun, then maybe I will choose to partake. Good idea in theory- but guess what I did with my cool new dinosaur chop stick thingamabobs? You guessed it- ate 2 whole bowls bull of my beloved mac-e cheese!!! Thanks for the neat chopsticks, though- they are indeed fun!

Maxin' & Relaxin'

Mommy has been doing at least one project a day to get the house all set to her liking- so this means I get some relaxin' Jack time. One of my favorite places to chill out while she paints, hangs pics, cleans windows, etc... is on her & daddy's super big bed. The colorful new bedspread and the big TV in the room are really helping to make this one of my most fav spots in the house for catching a good movie. I better appreciate it now, because as her projects are coming to an end, I feel as though my bed lounging TV time might be short lived as well!! Gotta live it up while I can!

Making It Mine!

I have been working really hard on making this new house my home. After 5 months of living in 3 different places, mommy was afraid it would be tough for me to put down roots again- but I m doing great! Mommy has tried to get me back into my daily routine- with such things like being able to brush my teeth in the same bathroom every night, etc...So- check me out conforming quite well to the new schedule in MY one house!

Jack In A Box

Well- we are all moved in to our new house!!! Mommy has been keeping super busy with unpacking and decorating...and I have been spending my time with worthwhile endeavors too! Mainly jumping into any empty box that crosses my path. Moving is fun fun fun!!!!!

New House!!!

Check out my new digs...in 3 days, that is! Mommy and daddy settle on our new house this Friday. Can you believe that they are keeping me away from my new abode until next Fridy, 15th? They figure it is better to move, paint, and unpack without me there...I mean, really?? Like I would be in the way or something?? Not at all fair!! My only consession to not seeing my new room sooner is that I will have Mommom and Poppy to keep me occupied this weekend and CiCi and Bud next week! Get those pucker lips ready, grandparents, because our summer of homelessness has come to an end, so ya better get all your kisses in now!!!!!

Ummm...could I BE any happier in my new backyard??
