Octo-Dog

Since mom has been making meals a bit more painstaking for me as of late with all of these new foods, she decided  to make an old favorite a bit more fun- and so I introduce you to Octo-Dog!!!!! Thanks mom- having a fun dinner made eating that cauliflower a bit more palatable...

Responsibility Chart

Mommy has instituted a Responsibility Chart in the house and it is working out...for the most part. The only item that has been a bit of a struggle for me is trying a new food each day. Since I am super picky (thus the reason this is even on the chart) it has been a major deal for me to try all these new things. Although most of what I have tried are staples for most people- they are new & different to me. So far I have had cauliflower, blueberries, kiwi, chicken pot pie (of which  a mere nugget of carrot took me 13 minutes to swallow) and crab legs. Out of all those things, the only thing that I told mommy I would try again were the blueberries. Woo Hoo- we have a winner! Now my food intake consists of 13 items that I will eat. One day and one food at a time, I guess!!

Ninjago

I now have two of my favorite things- together in one!!!!! I love to read and I love playing with Lego Ninjas- so when mommy bought me the Ninjago book, I thought I had died and gone to heaven. I have had mommy and daddy read me this book every day, 8 times a day, for the past week and every time we read it I just love it more & more! Check out my version of the story...

Snow

A thirty degree temperature swing in Pennsylvania...works for me. I have gotten the best of both words- sunshine and warm bicycling and then this week, chilly snowballs and sledding!! Owen and Robbie gave me a super slick sled for Christmas so I  got to break it in and slide down the front lawn. There is not a steep hill there- but it was the perfect incline for my first solo sledding experience. I did pretty good- I steered myself kinda straight and managed to not hit one of the trees in our yard. In addition to sledding- mommy, daddy and I had a snowball fight and  guess what??? I won!!!! But I think as far as fun days go- we were all winners!

Super Stink!

It's a bird...it's a plane... it's Super Stink!!! As many of you might know- I am loving super heroes right now- so mommy and I decided that I should have my own superhero alter ego. And from that idea- Super Stink was born!!!!! I run around town with no shoes and thwart criminal masterminds with my super smelly secret weapon- my pungently odiferous feet! Bet you don't want to meet me in a dark alley, do you? At least not without some smelling salts and mace strength Fabreze...

Wonderous Weather

Can you believe this weather? January and 69 degrees??? I AM LOVIN' IT!!!!  Spent a lot of time outside so I could soak up as much of that glorious vitamin D as I could!

Grandpop's 70th

Grandpop George had a big birthday this year- 2012 brought with it his 70th year of life!!! In celebration of this wonderful milestone- we all headed into Philly and met up at the Union League to help him celebrate his special day. It was the whole Nise gang and boy were there a lot of us- all the more to help Grandpop party!!!!!! I think this is the first time that all of us (minus Uncle Greg who lives in CA) were in the same room all together. There is no one more special and he deserved every minute of his super fun soiree...Happy Birthday, Grandpop!!
